The Giant is a new great event organized by Eco Race which will take place on September 2 in Livigno. A challenging half distance ironman, with 1800 m of swimming, 96km of cycling with 2600 meters of positive elevation gain and 20 km of running.

A race surrounded by a breathtaking panorama, challenging climbs by bike and in which the most ambitious athletes can put themselves to the test while trying to reach a performance of absolute technical value.

The swim fraction will take place in Lake Alpino del Gallo and will consist of one lap to be swum counterclockwise.
Athletes will cycle one lap of 96 km with around 2600m of positive elevation gain and which will take them into Switzerland as well.
Starting from Livigno at 1815m asl, through the fascinating Gallo Tunnel athletes will cross the Swiss border to take on the Fuorn Pass (2149m). From there via Val Muster (1375m) they will reach the climb of the Stelvio Pass (second highest pass in Europe, 2757 asl) to then descend toward Bormio and continue on to the Foscagno Pass (2291 asl). The arrival and T2 will be in Trepalle di Livigno (2030m asl).

From there the first 9km of the run start along a beautiful trail, almost completely downhill, that will take athletes to the bike path of Livigno. From there athletes will run two laps (of 5.5 km each), until the finish line.
